The Edge Farms is a local business that practices “nook and cranny” farming.

We recently had the pleasure of speaking with Alexandra and Blake of The Edge Farms about their business, which works on regenerative farming and creating clean foods. They have two farms, one in Glenmore and the other in Chester Springs, and we had the pleasure of seeing one in person.

Alexandra and Blake run what are called “nook and cranny” farms, which means they use space from other, larger farmers to raise livestock. The animals live in that unused space, improving the land that would otherwise just sit. As regenerative farmers, they are committed to leaving the soil better than how they found it.

Not only is it a blessing to have such a unique business in our community, but it also means that there are fresh turkeys available to the public. You can go to the Edge Farms website right now and see what’s available. They’ve doubled the number of turkeys, to right around 100, over the last three years. You can even preorder a turkey to have it ready for Thanksgiving.

It was such a treat visiting Alexandra and Blake at their farm. Hopefully, you will give them a look when considering your upcoming holiday plans. As always, if you have any real estate questions, you can call or email us anytime. We hope everyone has a festive and Happy Thanksgiving!
